Ben,I didn't know there were different Horus reticles. Maybe there is one for 22lr or air rifle ballistics?Taso
I think I would use a reticle like the picture I've attached. Figure hold over/under and wind drift. Don't get me wrong, Mr. Tubbs know's what he's talking about but I don't think in shooting pellet rifles under 200 yards we need to worry about temperature, barometric pressure, earth rotation and bullet spin veering right, I think he said.I couldn't keep his calculations straight in my head or figure out the markings of his reticle either. lolHe was shooting a 300 Winchester Magnum with high bc bullets too for Pete's sake lolThanks,Taso
Pellgunfun,Do you have a link to the air rifle DTR discussion. I watched very little of the first video and most of the second video so I may have missed it or it went over my head Too bad the price of admission on Tubb's site is $2900 for the scope. Taso
Unless you have a very consistent shooting airgun that scope will not work well for most of us. You have to zero the scope and use that ammo because it has to have a constant speed. I used to reload my .300 win mag ammo, you can get very consistent shot to shot and that scope would be awesome on a long range rifle. If you are using a gun with a shot curve the inconsistent velocity will change your zero.We do experience the movement to the right with slugs. If you zero your rifle with a diabolo pellet and then shoot a slug it will shoot to the right. Once you zero for the slug you won't notice it much at the distance we shoot.I would love that scope on my Saco .300 magnum.
