Back when I lived in N. WI, I bought a pair of these.
One I converted to a scope and eventually sold to a friend.
On this one, I knocked off the rear sight and added a Williams peep sight.
Eventually, I gave this one to my mother to control pests around her place in AZ and she used it successfully for several years.
I got it back a couple of years ago and now my wife uses it for plinking when we go camping.
The stock extension, cheek piece and grip were added due to the tiny size of the rifle. I made them out of an old shotgun stock I chopped up.
It'd a good shooter, but I can't really find out any info on the EM manufactured rifles. I lost the original brochure years ago, but I'll always remember the line,
"To be used for training and the shooting of rats" : )
