I have yet to go in and change to a light poppet spring and LW hammer. I'm thinking you are using your DIY SSG for hammer bounce or maybe the TSS. I'm really liking the easier cocking with the lighter hammer spring requirements in both my guns when using lighter valve springs. I like the smoother cocking with the MDS too. Maybe you could join the 40/40 club if haven't already? I do know the lighter hammer is able to cut the dwell time down better verses stock weight.Yep, someday I will get it updated and see if it can enter the 40/40 club. It doesn't do any plinking/target work, so 32 shots is more than plenty for critters.

Congrats Keith. Glad you finally got you a 25! I TOLD you the 'smack' was LOUD. Just wait til you hit a squirrel in the head. That sound will get your attention.
Makes me want to load up the trailer with my tanks and camping gear and head north for the weekend. SynBad and the Benjamin 14.3 Destroyers would love to help a brother out....lolI'd have to check with brother Shadow to see if skunk meat would make a good Easter dinner.
Sounds like you got a great deal. Love my .25 shot it a few hundred times yesterday and had it dialed all the way back and still hitting 870fps with 25.4gr Kings. With the same porting you have and 2400psi start pressure. Set up a gallon water jug and shot through the cap with a polymag at 35yds and figured it would stop it. Nope clean through. Nice versatile hunter for sure.
I have been following this very closely and talking in chat, thanks for helping push me over the edge and making my decision to buy one extremely easy.25 synrod with a dip it is.

Dillon treated me much more than fair on the deal.I believe you. I haven't even shot the MKII yet. Your tune sounds great. Do you mind sharing a few more details?

Do you mind sharing a few more details?Just a hogged out valve and ports and shorty's dual wire short stiff spring. Also has the negative hammer striker mod done and the bolt prob turned down. Easy to tune from 40-80fpe just adjusting pressure and hammer spring tension. I'm not real big on shot counts so never got to a TSS or SSG. I could not have this easy versatility with those. I normally shoot it from 42-65fpe when hunting. Unless I take it out for coyotes then it's dialed to max.
I have a question regarding a HUMA regulator. I'm noticing the gauge is creeping up overnight to 2400psi. After I fire the gun 4 or 5 times it settles down and stays consistent around 1900psi until it sits for a while. Now I understand why my first four shots on my initial base string were higher than the rest of the string. This is no good for hunting. Is this normal or can it be fixed to stay consistent from the starting shots?
Flipping the white disc seems to have fixed the creaping with mine.
