I have about 500-600 shots through my TX200 MKIII and love it. I was looking online but cant seem to find anything and lube maintenance. Is there any timeline for oiling/lubing that needs to be done like on a break barrel springer?I read the manual but it doesn't have anything...

Is there any timeline for oiling/lubing that needs to be done like on a break barrel springer?I read the manual but it doesn't have anything...I just keep shooting mine. And it just seems to get better!Did you find a left-handed stock for yours? I bet you'll fall enough in love with the rifle to spring for a walnut LH version. I spent the extra and ordered walnut when I bought mine and I don't regret it one tiny bit. It's nice to have an air rifle that looks as good as it shoots.Tight groups,lBob
The first maintenance thing I'd do would be to order a machined cocking shoe from Air Rifle Headquartershttp://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/catalog/item/8000185/10276123.htmI suspect when they're gone that will be the end of them. I have a TX 200 by the way and my cocking shoe did fail. The factory uses a sintered cocking shoe and it WILL bread using the power levels found in the American exported guns. The steel shoe did smooth my cocking action as well. If you want to spend a bit more get the forged front stock bracket at the same place. Mine broke early on and I had a machinist make a custom unit for me. The forged one is less expensive.Do not drip anything into the compression tube. If you feel you MUST do something clean out the factory lube, polish the spring ends, and reassemble with moly or Krytox on the lip of the piston seal.
With over 3000 pellets fired, my TX200 MKIII has never needed any maintenance other than a couple felt cleaning pellets fired through it and checking all screws are tight. Some lube on the under lever is good too!
