I have need for an adapter to fit the end of my Hatsan Gladius Shroud and providing me a 1/2-20 thread for my LDC recently purchased. I have a nice one made from aluminum that Im having some problems with so was thinking perhaps I could have one made out of plastic so as to just force thread it into my gladius shroud. the inside of my shroud "top of thread to top of thread) measures .86
I wouldn't mind paying for a quality piece made of aluminum but my Hatsan threads are MAYBE A23 X 1.00mm or some defective version thereof. My after market adapter with A23x1.00mm threads is supposed to fit but only goes on about one turn.
I'm open to any suggestion that doesn't involve me buying a bunch of tools. If it comes down to it I will simply resale the LDC or save it for another rifle. My adapter that isnt fitting came from a reputable company in the UK which I would prefer to not name as they "so far" have not been proven in the wrong. I just want my LDC on the Gladius and have no interest in throwing stones.
Someone in Michigan or near by where I would be able to provide my Shroud and if needed the not working adapter would be great.

well one thing is certain... the shroud threads or the adapter threads are wrong.. I recently noticed some guns using 1.25 pitch on shrouds, and that would lead to the " 1 turn " you speak of.banned vendor near you retired years ago, but you dont a gunsmith or airgun specialist , just any machinist to identify the shroud threads.. throw the shroud in the car, get the threads identified, then you can get the adapter from him or any other guy with a lathe.

Thread identification is the root of all evil.
