Sir.Ok. Need to order few other Saeco molds as same model but different weight...Trying to get NOE make a copy of that Saeco but need to waite maybe week then weather should gone better way and I can cast some samples for Al.Just noticed that Saeco has quite poor quality pictures some molds. I mean bullets from that mold. But I like Saeco's molds if You need to pick commercial mold that is one of my favorite.Hope get Your parts and could do more tests. I think we all waite to see how things is going. Good luck for tests.Teemu
You both are right. Couple things for my side. I have wierd thing when I find well working bullet just need to get other manufacturers do it copy it may work same or not,,,to this day those couple "test" are worked well...it just me. Some collect stamps I collect molds. And for sure if those are old like Ideal, Ohaus etc but new as well. I can't order from Midway because in here Finland Brownells "hijack" Midway Finland and price for Saeco molds are astonnishing, 2-cavity .45 cal molds are 211 € = about 226$... And selection is quite small...Yes I've been talking and buying from both Accurate and Arsenal. Both manufacturers are top class. But usually they need CAD-drawings etc... Ok I am giving up for NOE even there was few others who also liked that 61023 mold and somebody IIRC send some sample bullets for Al but as dyotat said nothing happened at least not since I last checked. That maybe my next thing to send email to Arsenal or Accurate... well still need to cast few bullets to get measurements or ask friend to do a CAD-drawing.Thanks Teemu

Looking good!
Woooof!!!! Very impressive Carl, I want to come visit you with Doug one of these days!
Carl I was wondering if those light bullets shot well when your gun was stock or only when you turned up the power. I notice that when my gun's power was turned up that some of the bullets that did not shoot well in stock form shot better after Doug opened up my gun. Wondering your results...
What I found so far is that the really light, roundball or EPP (not sure which 185 grain accurate slug you have) have shot well in my Texan. Anything from 200-250 grains has shot terrible. Then when the rounds start getting heavier again, the slugs start grouping better and better. For me I want a gun to shoot the projectile around 900 to 950 fps for a compromise of shot count, shot curve and flat shooting. Everyone is different but that is where I like my gun to shoot. My Texan won't do it in stock form unless I shoot low BC slugs like an EPP or roundball. Now that Doug has turned the power up on my gun it has a lot more options. However, now is gulps so much air that I don't like shooting it much.I just wanted to get your input because I am debating rebarreling the gun.
That is so true Carl. Why try shooting something the gun doesnt like. I have said on many threads that the 20" twist is ok in .457 for 200-500gr and its shoot many bullets accurately. Same as the 16" twist on 357 it works, but you need the speed to be around 1000fps on either calibers to shoot well. None of my tight twist guns shoot anything properly at slingshot speeds 700-800fps. Just my observations.Marko
Nice shooting Carl, that stock lw barrel looks to be quite good after all. Marko
