I'm on their wait list for the Carette. I had called this past Tuesday and was told that the compressors were shipped that very day and it's expected to be delivered in 2 weeks. Only time will tell as shipping from Asia is not always consistent. In my Ming hopefully I'll have mine in a month.

Ho hum . . . I'm trying to hold off with a little over 2 years on my tanks yet, when that time comes then I'll be looking for a compressor maybe.

I was told about 10 days ago that the compressors for people on the waitlist came in but were being held at customs awaiting approval for release. I do not know if they are all spoken for. From my past experience with this company I recommend you telephone Joe or Adam to get the latest info.ill probably be calling them tomorrow myself as I need a compressor and I think the Carette us the best value for the money currently available.

They are here, and more are arriving.  We have many people place pre-orders (we don't take payment, just put one on a list because we don't want YOU to be OUR bank).
We are going down the list, calling everyone.

We had the first shipment arrive Yesterday, and another ships on the 5th and and a third shipment on the 15th or 20th all by FedEx Air.   We are using air because of all the back-orders.

As I wrote, We are going down the list, calling everyone.  When in doubt, just call us and we'll update (or take your order).

I just wanted to let others know about my experience with buying from Joe B's company. I have found them to be dependable and honest. They ship quickly and they don't cut corners in giving customers the best products and service from what they sell. I will be doing a full review of the Carette Compressor which I will be receiving next week. They sell the old fashioned way you are better off calling for orders and information as their web site is not the greatest. We have all read about dishonest scamming vendors who sell what's not in stock and may never be in stock just to rip off deposits. airtanksforsale is not that way they want to make a profit, their families have to live but they back up what they sell and have always been fair in the few dealings I've had with them

Very nice to know! That's the way it should be, I learned at a very young age not to live beyond my means, I haven't had a loan since 1977 ;D

How are the Alpha filters being attached to the unit?
Any photos?
I want to get one but that's big money for me so I have a few questions first.

From what I've seen on one of the upright frame bars you attach it keeping it vertical. I think in the pictures they were using large radiator  hose clamps to attach. I'll find out Thursday  when mine arrives. Hopefully Joe remembered to have a right angle fitting on the inlet side of the filter as he recommended in an video.

Was this thread dedicated only to pre-orders or are we still in "pre-order" status?  Was this for a different introductory price or same price listed on ATFS at $1395 and is that a shipped price or is that a belt-load extra?  Thanks.

I want to be able to top off a Scuba tank, will I be able to use my existing fill station with a male to male foster fitting or do I need something else?
The fill station I have.
