Is it possible to (easily) put a rocker safety on an older, push down safety Sheridan? I have a 1974 Blue Streak and I love everything about it except that it has a mangled up bore. You can't get any worse problem than that in a Blue Streak.
If I knew that you could change out the back end of an older Sheridan with a rocker safety rear end it would widen my horizon as I look for a barrel/pump tube to replace what I have now.
Probably won't have any luck anyway. How would someone have a good barrel and pump tube without the stock and everything else? If the gun was so carelessly handled that the stock and other things were trash, how would the barrel and pump tube survive in good shape?
Maybe someone on this forum has an accurate barrel/pump tube left over from other projects, and would be willing to sell? Thanks.

Keep an eye on eBay.
There are partial guns for sale all the time there.
I have a thread here on "breakers" separating good guns to sell pieces. You are a good candidate to score one.

I feel your pain Randy. A few years ago I picked up a Racine 342. Turned out to have a bad bore, I think maybe a kid had got hold of it and shot nails or rocks or something out of it. Couldn't ever get it to group worth a darn, so it became a parts gun.
Actually the barrel and tube can outlast everything else on the gun if merely neglected, not abused. (Brass being resistant to corrosion.)
