Reposting from Vintage GateFound this Expo-26 in pretty decent condition for only $30 on local Craigslist. First Gamo and first break-barrel springer. First up is to put it on the chrony and see how it's shooting. After that a new trigger. Also interested in scope and mount recommendations, although I don't find the recoil to be that severe after putting a few RWS 8.3gr through it in the garage last night. Thanks!
Nice looking rifle, good find. I wouldn't put anything larger than a 3x9x32 variable power scope on it. Standard 4x scopes would work as well. Congrats on a nice find Jeff
I think a normal length 3-9x32 would be too long if mounted low
QuoteI think a normal length 3-9x32 would be too long if mounted lowWith that hooded front sight I doubt a low mount set of rings would work, Just put a set of medium rings on it and I bet you'd be fine.USMA-1982 I think you did very well. Gotta love them Craigslist locals when they work out.So, back then were these real Gamo's... Does it say "Made in Spain"?
Yes, Made in Spain -
I've done an FWB 300S.
