Just finished shooting xs12 full tune from flying dragon.after 650 rounds with crosman premier in box my order of jsb exact 8.4 came in and grouped very nice compared to the crosman pellets.whas able to keep them grouped within a dime at 12 yards with my older beeman blue ribbon 2.5 x32.The gun is accurate but it's the heavy and long pull of the trigger that's holding back its potential. Can stack pellets with my R1 open sights at same range.Heavy and long trigger pull and light weight gun is holding it back.Gun shoots silky smooth though with the full tune.Anyone out there with the same gun doing good or any trigger mod.The trigger is smooth with no grittiness just a little heavy and long for my taste and for me to be really accurate with.

I've got around 2000 pellets through the same rifle. JSBs 8.4 are the most accurate. At 20 yards I can (most times) keep them under a quarter. Great little shooter. Love mine. OBTW The trigger gets better with use.

I had Mike tune the trigger on my XS12 and it is great. Without a tune it does get better with use.

When I get my XS12 out to shoot seems like the first pull is heavy, after that it is alright. Mine is not tuned at all and shoots great....

The XS-12 has a direct sear trigger somewhat like a Diana 25. It can be pollished, the sear can be ground to narrow dimensions, however it will not be as light as a HW record.

Thanks guys for your help.I assume that it's a full tune he did what he can with the stick trigger. I'll just keep shooting it and find what technique is best when pulling the trigger.

Several months ago I purchased a Stoger model 5 from linoww. He has tuned the trigger as nice as any direct sear that I have shot. (Not that many perhaps) Shot it last night at a 10 meter fun shoot and had respectable groups for a light rifle. I have thought about getting a barrel weight from Air rifle Headquarters for a little stability.
Back to the trigger. Linoww placed a piece of brass behind the trigger to eliminate over travel. Helps a lot.

Got a pair of them from Mike over a year ago for Betty Lou and I. Great little 10 meter open sight plinkers.
