Light cocking noise from my new TX200

I recently purchased a TX200. The rifle is a joy to shoot and very accurate out to 50 yards.
When I first started shooting the rifle, there was a cocking noise that did not sound like grinding, but more like a woosh sound. It was pretty loud for about the first 50 shots or so, then it has been getting progressively quieter. Now I hardly notice it.
I have searched the various air gun forums, and I have heard that this sound is:
A. The cocking shoe - remedied with a little molly - I did this and the noise persisted.
B. The gun breaking in - Which I think may be the case since the noise is getting less (I have 400 shots through it).
C. The compression tube rubbing on the outer tube - remedy with lube - I checked this and the space between the compression tube and outer tube appears to be well lubed.
D. The main spring ends are torquing when the spring is compressed - Remedied by polishing the spring ends - The sound does seem to be coming from the spring are, but I am a little reluctant to take the gun apart at this point and polish the spring ends.
E. The cocking linkage rubbing against the stock in the yoke area - I checked this, and there is plenty of clearance.
At any rate, I know there are plenty of TX200 owners on GTA. What advice would you give? Since the sound is lessening and does not sound too aggressive, I'm inclined to just keep shooting the gun and see if this mild cocking sound eventually goes away on its own.

I don''t know how you checked the lube between the compression tube and the outer tube without dismantling the gun.
I found my TX 200 to be poorly lubricated from the factory. If you ever do tear it down polish the spring ends and put a decent lubricant on the lip of your piston seal. It should smooth out and quiet down.

None of those, except possibly an excess of lube between the inner and outer tubes, or maybe on the piston seal would seem to make a whoosh or suctiony/blowy sound. Maybe I lack imagination.
The spring things mentioned all sound like a variant on the "graunch" noise to me.
