I finally get to join this forum!!!

I'm stoked to FINALLY be able to join this forum. I pickup up a few old beauties recently:
Blue Streak
Crosman 160 Pellgun
Crosman 140
Crosman 66 PowerMaster (my gun as a kid - now a parts gun as it's missing a bunch of screws
)
(Sorry for the lousy pic, I haven't yet had time to mess with them much. I've spent most of my free time drooling over the powder burners from the 1800's to early 1900's. I'm totally clueless on what to do with these. I'll probably start with a Ballistol wipedown and then just put them away, as I don't want to do any harm to them. I wish there was a GTA for powderburners!)
The top 3 guns are in fair condition. Most of the metal work is pretty good, with some light lust. All of the wood is in good condition but UGLY. I don't think any of them have been opened up, as they've been stored for at least 30 years. The PowerMaster was mine, and the others belonged to my dad.
I hope to have some funds this summer to maybe take a stab a restoring 1 or more of them. My first stop will probably be Tim. Any tips/advice are welcome.
Thanks!

You may get lucky and just lube the piston's , after a good cleaning. And see if they hold pressure

very cool. I don't think the wood looks bad on the sheridan. Forearm looks like it has some nice figure to it.
I don't know anything about the crosmans, but as others said, you could try putting some oil in these places and then letting it sit for a day or two, then see what happens.
http://www.mac1airgunshop.com/secret-sauce-small-dripper-2-fl-oz-p/m1ss2po.htm
based on the bolt and front sight, looks like the Sheridan dates to about 1961 or 1962.
enjoy!

That's a great vintage collection to start off with. Don't dismiss the 66! That's the air rifle that got me back into this hobby. Actually someone left a broken 2100 in my garage. Parts from Crosman were incredibly inexpensive. It's now one of my favorites and may be the most accurate airgun I own.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys!
I haven't tried pumping them because I was afraid to do any damage. It sounds like I should get some secret sauce, lube the heck out of them, and then try pumping/shooting them. I need a new bolt o-ring for the streak before I can do this. I may also need one for the 140, as I don't see an o-ring on the bolt. Are there still parts diagrams for these guns?
It's also good to know that I can still get parts for the PowerMaster. I woud NOT have expected this!
Are there any gold-standard tutorials for opening up and repairing these guns, or should I just search around for what looks applicable? I searched for the Crosman 140 and was rewarded with a TON of good posts.
Thanks guys!

"lube the heck out of them" isn't really a correct term, as it will only take about 5 drops of oil per gun
, secret sauce would probably be best, but non detergent 30 weight oil or air tool oil would work fine as well
Most of the screws on the Powermaster will be #6 flat head I believe, but you could look at the parts breakdown of a current 66/Recruit/Torrent and get parts from them, the screws will be $1.15 a piece so a hardware store would be cheaper... The only things that have changed from the old to new 66's (including the Torrent and Recruit) is the receiver halves to accept the pellet clips (and they used to be metal, then changed to plastic at some point, then changed to the pellet clips around 2000) which changes the bolt and the plastic transfer port block mostly. Everything else is the same, you could even hot rod it up a bit with a flat top valve and piston for a 13XX pistol... that will get it up to around 750fps...

Before I had time to research all the details, this video was all I needed to resealed by old Crosman 140, bought a cheap seal kit at Ebay and watched this video and Part2 a few times.
Even though the gun holds/shoots/pumps well, after testing it's not shooting at maximum possible power because I didn't swap the pump cup. I will rectified this later. So my advice to you is to pick up a premium Mac1 kit and replace the pump cup with the modified piston included with kit (easy to do), and save yourself the time and extra tear down effort down the road, most likely, after all this time, your Pump cup has probably hardened and will not give you maximum FPS.

Wow, thanks for all of the extra tips guys!!! I have quite a bit of info to go on now.
My son and I were at a local gun show this morning. We happened to pick up a silver streak for $38!
The forearm has a good chunk out of it, but the metal is in great shape. We were both pretty excited. I think when we go to do a rebuild, we will probably use the blue streak stock and forearm, and the silver streak action.
