TX200 LH walnut stock

I've had a Diana 45 T01 since the 90's. Very nice rifle, accurate too. The stock was a beach covered in a shellac of some kind. While waiting for a new Macarri spring kit, I had been reading and researching, I kind of got sucked into buying a TX200. Very nice rifle. After a month or two, I realize I have NO IDEA how to take care of the stock. My powder burners and the 45 T01 all have shiny/glossy finishes. Obvious how to maintain the stocks.
This TX200 has a lovely walnut stock that is quite dull in finish. I would NEVER have guessed, but I LOVE this stock. Now, I am paralyzed as to what to do with it. My natural instincts tell me to use exactly what the manufacturer recommends. I've been researching this forum as well as others and get lot's and lot's of info. But NOT what Minnelli or Air Arms used. The dull finish doesn't get slippery when hands get a bit sweaty. I think the tooth is in the wood, not the finish.
Does anyone know what they are using, or better yet, how to maintain it? I might like to refinish my old 45T01 the same way. But thats another topic....
Thank you in advance for the advice, ladies and gentlemen!

I just bought a TX200 in walnut, too. I don't know the answer to you question, but I will stay tuned to this thread.

Have a Pro Sport and TX200 both in walnut. Use Renaissance Wax on both. I like the natural look of the factory wood which the wax helps maitain.

I too have a TX200 LH Walnut stock and the finish arrived somewhat dull as well.
I finished the stock using Maccari's Royal London Oil after reviewing Nitrocrushr's step-by-step.
His post is here:
http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=81321.0
If you go to Maccari's site URL:
http://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/catalog/item/251486/42975.htm
, there is a brief tutorial there as well on how to apply it.
I applied about 6 coats of the RLO and am impressed with the results. Will post pics later.
Pictures as promised.

Gilberca,
That's a beautiful rifle!
Thanks.
Applying the RLO wasn't hard to do.
If you want to refinish the stock yourself, make sure you remove the action and rear shoulder pad.
That makes the process much easier.

RLO is great. Easy to use for a perfect finish. A very nice finish, tough, long lasting, at that. I first used BLO and it would just not hold up and my sweat pulled the oil out of the stock. Use RLO once and be done with it. It's only about $7 a bottle from Airrifleheadquarters.com.
