Would be cool , id drive to that I bought a Crosman 2100 refurb on cyber Monday directly from Crosman this last November. I got the gun and a box of 1250 7.4gr Crosman Premier pointed pellets for $50 + free shipping.($53.75 with MN sales tax) This gun shoots as well as my B-3, IF I can hold it still enough. The gun is so light weight that if I even blink the shot placement will shift some. It is great for carrying and off hand shooting. If I can find a picture of shot grouping from it I will do an edit of this post with the picture for you folks. Best Regards to All. - TomThis is the exact problem I have with my 760 Pumper. It's too darn light- next time I take the clam-shells apart I'm going to add some weight. I'm very tempted to order either a Daisy 35 or the 880/901. I like the 2100 but loading pellets is just a chore. I think my 760's 5-shot clips have spoiled me.Gut feeling tells me if a large group of us got together and brought all the fancy PCPs and high-end springers, we'd still have the most fun when we broke out the plastic-pumpers. The aforementioned FT event or something like EBR @ 50 yards, .177 pumpers only.

Tom, Looks like you are doing exactly what good Grandpaws should do: teach grandsons how to shoot and provide the means to do so!About those 2100 pumpers... I've never owned one, so I'm wondering if there area around the loading port can be attacked with a file/Dremel to open it up. I'd never shoot BBs from it- that's what my Daisy 25 is for. I'm thinking cut the entire top away for loading access like an 880.Otherwise, my next pumper will likely be a Daisy- either an 880-barrelled 35 or the 901.Incidentally, are those Remington AirMaster 77s as good as they seem to be? If I see a refurb on maybe a price drop on Amazon/Wally-World, it looks to be a great gun for the monies. As-is, priced above $60.
Was nice out today so shot in my garage 10m range. Let's see $10 cigar and a $20 airgun! Arrow TS-45 variant. I love this rifle and it's open sights. Shoots 650fps with 7gr RWS Basic pellets. It's just the right size, weight and power to make it one of my favorite rifles to shoot. Two groups with Basics and one with CR CPHP. I'm not a great shot, and my eyes went this past year, but I like these groups!P.S. these were offhand. The workmate was just to hold my cigar. Oh, and a tip is to buy or get free magnetic parts dishes from Harbor Freight. They make great ash trays!
