The Ataman M2R Bullpup, Type 2

Its been a while since I wrote anything... Busy and behind is the reason
Moving on I have the Ataman M2R Bullpup, Type 2 both in .25cal and .357cal. I will start with the .25cal. The looks and feel is sweet, and very well balanced.
Barrel: The Barrel is the best that I have seen on a air rifle. I still did not hesitate to put my crown on it although it did not need it, but just me, that's what I do. It has a 1:18 twist and the key is a heavy pellet. What I encountered is that with the .25 JSB runs about 978fps too hot for that pellet, but the rifle is regulated, so if you were to turn the hammer down then you would not be using the reg as it should be used, So a heavy pellet and some tuning was needed.
I had to make sure that each time that the hammer hit the valve all the air within the reg was released. So I found that the JSB MKII would do the job. So I turned the hammer till the fps was within a 4-5fps spread. Now that gave me 905fps with the 34gr JSB good velocity and power combo. I will get to shot count later.
Pellet Clip: Work of art, and a very very consistent one I might add, In fact you do not have to remove it to reload so you can lock it in place, and the eliminates the need for more then one clip. Comes with two fill probes, one in which you do not need to screw on a quick connect as it is machined on there as one piece. The pellet probe is well thought out.
Trigger: This is where things get tricky, Still playing around with it, seems that it will work out.
Stock: Walnut and has a very nice fill to it.
I went ahead and shot some groups with it but very windy today so could not stretch it out like I wanted to, but looks like the things that I have done to it so far works very well. Taking it out into the field in the morning to put some GS in the dirt. This will be a running thread....Over all its a real nice shooter, waiting to put it thru its paces.

So right now I have it set at a 902fps avg @ 250bar fill i can get 16 shots shooting the JSB 34gr MKII with a 7fps ES. Which is not bad at all. So I am not sure if a 300bar fill will double the shot count but even if it comes close lets say 30shots in a .25cal at that weight is nice.

Going out tomorrow with the .25cal and the .357, that .357 is very interesting.

Good luck! Looks nice only thing I'm not a fan of is how high the scope sits. Seems awfully high

No its no higher then any bullpup, like cricket, FX Bobcat, all the same I personally like a much lower one, too low for many ppl. Looks like its high but not the case.
