I just bought a TX 200 two weeks ago and it shot fine. Like you I ordered the cocking shoe from ARH. My gun cocks with a little grind, but that sound is getting less and less as the gun breaks in, so I have not installed the shoe yet. The trigger and safety always engage, as long as I pull the cocking lever back all the way. I can cock the gun so the safety does not engage, but all I have to do is pull the cocking lever back until the safety goes on. No big deal.Shooting the gun is a real joy. My TX 200 shoots consistent dime size groups at 30 yards and produces dime to quarter size groups at 50 yards when I'm shooting off buckets and sticks using AA 10.3gr pellets.
