That some excellent shooting Carl, those cans aro so tiny up in the distance. It was nice to see how consistent the rifle is, first three shot very tight, second and third virtually same hole. Marko
Nicely done, Carl.... You have set the standard, and the path, for others to follow....Bob
Nice shooting Carl. "dang" You really have set a hard standard.
Amazing!! I'd be surprised if I could hit a Pepsi truck at that distance.

Yours is exactly my thought 2 yrs ago when I started this long range .257 journey. Initially I shot beyond the 100 yd range and saw dust kick up out to 500 yds on back mountain. Went to another range for greater distances and increased distances a 100 yds per outing........Had a backyard scope rail to get MOA by trial error and remove rail/with scope to raise the rear......Not like the easily adjustable 300 moa rail now. ANYWAY, after 500 yds, my thoughts WERE, I BELIEVE, the .257 will GO TO 800 yds, but NOT SURE if I could even hit a BUS Kept after it and better barreled and put together guns and now I know I could hit a BUS or Pepsi Truck at 800 yds Thanks for commenting.........................Carl
Very nice Carl.Hey, what scope & power setting for this 800 yds ?
