Viper Pro (Scope opinion/test) - Not sure if it belongs here...

So I splurged and upped the game with one of these, the MTC Optics Viper Pro 5-30×50 SCB2 Reticle.
I had it out this weekend on the range here in Arizona, where the weather is somewhat agreeable to normal humanoids.
First impressions are quite good, fundamentally a great scope for the price point (not cheap, but not super expensive). The reticle is wonderful for both tracking targets and still targets. It doesn't clog up the glass, but yet have more than enough detail on the stadia to make informed shot placements/holdover decisions. The geared elevation turret is awesome, it's sounds a little bit like a gimmick, but in practice it's so intuitive and easy to use that I will have a hard time using anything else going forward. Ergonomics are good, solid feel to everything, lock rings for the flipup's even, so you can position them the way you like. Nice feature when you have to adjust the ocular. Ofcourse the turrets have several settings, lock, click and free. The Focus turret is solid and have enough "gumphich" to grab and rotate with enough finesse.
The glass is sharp, and clear without distortion all the way out too the edges, the eye relief is really nice and wide, not hard to position the ocular even at full power. I've used Nightforce, Hawke, Mueller, Leapers/Accushot. I would place this somewhere on par or slightly above the Hawke offerings I've seen/tried.
It's also pretty light weight, which it helps with field use.
Reticle picture:
The Scope Specs:
Field of view: 23.7′ (5x) @ 4.2′ (30x)
Eye relief: 3.4″
Weight: 30.2 oz
Length: 16.4″
Tube diameter: 30mm

Very nice scope! Does mtc have a program you can use to make a custom turret tape?

They have a fixed 10 power viper pro. I wasn't aware of that before but that is one I would like to try.
