If I can no longer get ammo, I'll have to settle but will not be happy about being stuck with an Inferior caliber .Spoken like a true believer.

If companies all made air rifles in .20 caliber then you wouldn't need both a .177 and a .22 air rifle. You'd just buy the one rifle in .20 cal.
I don't think many people know about a .20 cal. I grew up with a Dan and it outperformed the Benjamin two fold. My first gun was a Crossman 760 Pumpmaster and after hunting with it for a while I found out quick that it wasn't strong enough and traded it to a neighbor kid for his Sheridan. I had to also trade my cheap fiberglass recurve bow to make it happen. We had to get both parents permission and the trade happened and I never looked back. We traded because the pellets had to be bought at only a few places so his parents thought it would be easier to find pellets. I don't think the parents had a clue but it made their son happy.I hunted with a friend everyday and the Dan dropped all meat faster than his new .22 Sheridan. It didn't matter what animal, they usually had to be tracked and dispatched but the Dan would drop 95% where it stood. I put many meals on the table with it before I was allowed to get a powder gun.I went through this thread and found Amazon has a $99 deal on the Webley. HMMM, might have to explore a little on that one. How do you know when the addiction started? More than 1 new gun a month?
