I am new to PCP's. I have a Carbine (.22) as well and am really intrigued by your post and knowledge. I have the trigger where I want it. I need an LDC to shut her up. But then shot string and shots per fill become the next challenge. I need to get a chrony to start the process. In the mean time? At half power with the JSB 18's I get 4wheels. As you know if one goes to full power with those or a heavier round your down to a wheel or 10 rounds. I was going to buy a couple springs and cut them back, using the nano at a set fill, with the same weight pellet to get a before and after read. I'll look forward to your progress beings how there is not a regulator available.
You made a nice job there.Take care with V type valve. My factory valve have same problem like yours ,but instead replacement with factory soft plastic one I was made another from delrin and is sealing face to face with valve body. Something like Benjamin marauder valve.Of course after a little playing with lathe. After all this work , when I hoping to shoot a string ,my breech O-ring blow out.Hope to find another one after Christmas brake.
Interesting thread,.....I need to get me a Sumatra again

I "made" a spanner wrench by cutting off two 4-40 screws and putting them in opposite holes of the locking ring, clamping on vice grips and turning. Worked like a charm.Made a long screw driver by grinding down the sides of a piece of 3/8" rod.Got the valve poppet out and.........Is it bad? Sure looks to me like that sealing part of the poppet is supposed to go all the way to the edge of metal. Correct? If so definitely why I lost velocity at high pressure. Looks like the poppet is closing an additional 1/16" plus
