Going with Ian's "one and done" approach this round (read as: I'm running out of time and am pretty happy with the first targets shot

Been busy at work with new job.
Needed some relaxation this evening.
2 hand entry, was first target of the night.
1 and done.
The 1st shot was an 8, I didn't do my normal routine of shooting the gun 2 times to wake up the valve.

I make 2 predictions;
ON THE DATE WHEN US TROOPS ARE ISSUED AN Energy Pulse Weapon,
1. The US Soldier will have on his person a version of the Colt 1911.
2. He will be aiming the NEW Weapon at someone carrying an AK47.

Here is my 5M Air Pistol Match #7 entry:
Call name or real name: JimQwerty123
Air pistol: MRodAir CP1-M
Sighting system: Walther Red Dot
Pellet and caliber: 177 JSB RS
One or Two-Hand grip: Two Hands
Score: 139
I have a question about my red dot sight I hope that someone here can help with. My Walther red dot and my pistol had been in its case since the last time that I shot this match. When I started shooting today it was shooting so far to the left that it was completely missing my trap. (lucky I was outside)
Does anyone know what would cause the sight to shift like that?
One I got it back sighted in, it held zero without a hitch.
Thanks,
Jim

Ron, for not having shot an air pistol off hand much, that's good shooting.
And with a pistol that is so inexpensive, it was almost like it was free..
You will get used to it, and your next scores will be higher..
Just quit sneezing every time you pull the trigger..
Jim, the only things I can think of is
1: it got bumped somehow when putting it back into the case.
2: a lose screw or two on the mount, or where the barrel mates to the breech, or where the receiver mates to the tube.
3: (the least likely) I have no first hand experience with the cp1-m, but while in the case for the last couple of weeks, something was putting pressure on the barrel, or sight, possibly over time, moving them slightly out of alignment.

45Bravo:
I believe that somehow it must have got bumped. I didn't say it above but the first thing that I did was check the mounts - No loose screws. I didn't thank to check the other two items. I'll check them tonight. I cut out the foam for the case so I don't believe that anything is putting pressure on the gun or the sight.
Hmm.. I have a suspicion I know how it got "bumped" hard enough to move the sight 8 or 9 inches to the left.
Thanks,
Jim
