There is no such thing as a cheap 1377, because it becomes a highly-modified 1377 And it is worth every ludicrous cent spent. In all seriousness, I highly second getting a Crosman 13xx, Hey, look at his modding skills... I am just trying to help him out.Heh heh heh

Welcome and i love your shop!!
Terry, I have a Summit NP2; same gun except I have a conventional stock.I just put the SLT trigger in mine, and made a tutorial video you may find helpful:
One other thought: can you set up your little backstop to shoot diagonally in your shop, and maybe get a few more yards? Because even with this humble rifle, the group sizes are already small enough so as not to be too challenging @ 10 yards. (unless you start shooting offhand!)
Good Shooting Terry ! I'm Impressed with your Shop and Projects. You would have made an Excellent Repair Machinist. Very nice property that you live at sir. I'll be watching for your future posts. I have a HELPFUL suggestion ! Get a Hatsan 135 Quiet Energy Vortex Gas Ram rifle in 30cal. and make it BETTER! They look great and are a new rifle in a completely unique caliber. You could be blazing uncharted ground with a brand new product. Kind of like your Electric Motor Powered Dragster Achievement. If you could double the listed pellet velocity with increases in accuracy, you will have achieved a New First in "Big Bore - Brake Barrel - Air Rifles" Big Bore Rifles are considered by many as, PCP Territory, and this gun has already got people buzzing both Pro and Con. Best Regards - Tom
Great post, Terry.Let me ask you one thing: What distance are you planning to ultimately shoot it at?The reason I ask is that if you're going to shoot at 15 yards or beyond, it is OK for it to shoot a bit low at 10 yards, because the pellet is still climbing in its trajectory. It is actually still climbing STEEPLY in its trajectory at 10 yards, which is why some scopes can't accommodate pellet guns. If you set the close zero at 10 yards, the far zero might be 120 yards or something else useless. If you had left it alone, you'd find that you could just zero it for 15 yards, and if you shoot it at distances out to 60 yards or so, then chart the trajectory, you'd find the second zero point; where it crosses zero again on the tail end of the parabolic trajectory.ORFind the peak of the trajectory, zero for that, and note the hold-overs leading up to and away from it. (the advantage to this is that there are no hold-UNDERS to worry about)If you find some trajectory software online (I use chairgun pro for my iPhone, which is free) you'll see just what I mean. I'll try to remember to post pix later to help illustrate.

So yesterday my wife is off work. She's taking a vacation day. She has about 4 times as much vacation built up as she ever takes. I don't have nearly as much so I was working. When I get home I tell her that I wish I could have been off work so I could have been home with her. She says...and I quote..."You would have just been shooting all day anyway." Hmmm...guess she's right. lol... Carry on.
