Picked my 22 caliber 34 Panther up today. Looked it over and only found one super small scratch by where it says the caliber, very nice. I cleaned the barrel and man was it filthy. Wiped down the rest and it also needed it. Now that it's all pretty I took it to the garage and shooting at little over 20 feet with open sights and a wobbly rest with not many rounds through it I shot a dime size group before quitting for the night. Mine has the t-05 trigger and it feels sweet, probably a 3-4 pound pull and a nice crisp break. Took me by surprise a couple of times with the light pull. The auto safety will take some getting used to but really is a nice feature. This is a nice quality feeling gun and everything was nice and tight from the factory. The fiber optic sights are much better than the ones on the Quest, very and bright. It seems to be a rifle that will instill confidence in most users. In just the little bit I shot it I began to feel that I was going to hit where I was aiming and that's a nice feeling.

Glad you like it, I love mine.
They get worn in with age, not worn out.
Great choice and welcome to the German side

Congrats on the new Panther. If you think you love it this much already, just wait until you get a chance to keep shooting it. Its likely to become your favorite quick. Let us know how the process of getting to know it goes.

Figured out the picture thing. Came home and had to put some more rounds through the Panther. Guns like these make it fun to shoot and make you a better shot. One of the pictures shows how bright the front fiber optic is. With old eyes like mine it really helps. I shot 50 rounds. The target pictured is the last 25 shots of 5 per target. It was a measured 24 feet shooting off a 1927 Airline console radio with a 5 gallon plastic bucket with a seat as the bench, not ideal.
I'm bring the groups closer to center and while no dime groupings they weren't bad for still fiddling with the open sights. It will only get better as I learn the rifle and get used to the very nice trigger. Now that I've shot it a bit I now know I need to take some 600 grit to the sharp edges on the stock. As high as I had to go up with the sights I think it has some droop so it'll need a compensator when I scope it.
