WELCOME!!I would say yes its a possibility but lest check a couple things first...1) Clean the barrel. Look for GOO GONE. You need something strong enough to remove any paint that's likely in the barrel. NO BARREL BRUSHES!!!2) Look close at the crown. Get a magnafyer and a good strong light. Get a cotton ball and dab at it looking for snags showing burrs that cause accuracy problems.3) TRY DIFFERENT PELLETS!!4) NO disrespect. But, do you have any accuracy problems with other guns?5) Is the scope a known good scope?6) There surely have been some KNOWN bad barrels. If new contact Crosman and advise them of whats happening.Hope this helps,CW

Wow!!!! Amazing how much different pellets can make. I cleaned the barrel and picked up a few different pellets. After cleaning the barrel the crossman hollow points were no better, Benjamin pellets were slightly better, and then I tried a sample pack of JSB pellets, WOW!!! The exact and exact heavy shot great. I sighted it in and shot a 5 shot group of the exacts at 25 yards in the wind using a lawn chair for a brace, less than .5" group. Can't wait to shoot off a bench with no wind and see what it will do. Thank you guys for your help!!
