Title: Norica Quick/Hamerili Nova
Post by: RedFeather on February 23, 2012, 10:54:21 PM
Anyone have this model?  Seen the one post here but am wondering if there are any current owners?  Tom Gaylord did a three part review on the Quick and reported a heavy trigger and quite heavy cocking effort.  Kind of thinking that, with a reduced spring, it might lighten the direct sear trigger and turn one into a medium/high powered shooter.

i found that to be partially true.  the triggers are are bit^h.  whether you're pulling them or working on them, that guinis the a#1 hardest trigger packet to re-assemble.   however, the trigger is a 7 lb (some 5 lb) very predicable break.   the rest of the gun is VERY comparable to a cometa, red.   cosking effort vs. velocity puts the storm elite and rws 94/fenix 400 way up there.   easier to cock than a longbow, 124, or diana 34, .... and 950 fps w/ .177 cpl's.    750+ in .22 cp's.   the plastic stocks are better that the m34 panther's.   i believe they are great guns for $100 - made by norica - the #2 in spain afetr cometa and before gamo (lamo).   - raneman

I think you might have the Quick mixed up with a break barrel.  This is the big underlever.  Gaylord reported about 56 pounds cocking effort via his bathroom scale test.  Why I figured that a milder spring would help that direct sear.
