Looks like great news for upgrading your older Sniper 125,when the spring breaks! Will the power be the same or greater with the their gas ram kit,as in the .25 cal Sniper 125?
Will these news rams have to be charged or pumped up? I saw where you said they were adjustable. I don't really understand what you mean. I am a newbie, so maybe its a dumb question.

I would guess that this would mean that you wouldn't want to adjust the power of your Vortex gas piston on a humid day?
Quote from: Rama on April 17, 2013, 12:32:09 AMI would guess that this would mean that you wouldn't want to adjust the power of your Vortex gas piston on a humid day? I forget where the actual link is located, but a member made a simple, effective air-drying system for use with a hand-pump. I would definitely use something like it, if I was adjusting the ram, myself. If my spring ever breaks, I know I've got another option, so that's cool.
Interesting, the theoben ram has been copied before (the original vortek from Tom) there were a couple of problems with that one - user error maybe amoung them, you know folks WILL over charge them if they can- most all failed and no support there was also the little patient infringment problem but that's now well out of date.Would be interesting to find out if it's the same chinese company that makes the crosman/vortek ram that is going to make the "vortex" or if hatsan is doing it in house, or? Hopefully it will be rebuildable and have parts support.John
I was thinking about running the air conditioner in your car for a while, or running one of those window AC units in a small room for a while, then doing it in there (if you could manage it). But yeah, a less awkward method would probably be handy.
Not sure why someone would want to fully charge a ram to the max when it only gives you a violent shot cycle and not the mention a cocking effort of epic proportions.

Finally told myself to spend less, get the spring model and get the gas piston when the spring needed replacing. It's great to see there's another option to the nitro piston direct from Hatsan.
