Mine has a bad barrel and is about 200 fps below what others report in their reviews here. It is very inaccurate. It's a nice looking piece of junk.My son's has only been shot a few dozen times, but seems good -about 750 fps and under an inch at 10 yds.It was the scope that made this a deal. Last night we shot his 34 back to back with the Tomahawk. It's smoooth and very accurate and makes the Tomahawk feel crude and harsh. I'd much rather spend the extra and have the 34.
whats making the barrel bad crown,loose/tight bore??, the 200 fps could just be a bad seal or a junk spring either one a really cheap fix.. With it shooting 200 fps slow its not going to e accurate especially if its due to a seal or spring, would be worth the effort to tear it down and see before writing it off as junk..

It was slow and harsh at first, so I tore it down to deburr and found an undersize seal and the piston had been hitting the end of the chamber. I installed an ARH seal (about $20 shipped). So now I may need a spring (another $25). I think I'm going to reline the barrel with a Crosman soda-straw barrel (another $25) to fix the bulge in the middle. I did remove the threads at the muzzle and choke the barrel. It reduce the groups by half, but who wants a slow plinker that's as hard to cock as a rifle shooting much faster? So add all that up and add the $25-$35 shipping and a $99 gun is going to cost me as much as a 34.
Did you contact Hatsan and check if you could buy a barrel for a model 95?
You already have a Hatsan barrel...
My new Tomahawk .22 is firing all over the place. I would be embarrassed to post a photo of my targets. It's almost enough to make me doubt my skills, though I've never had a problem grouping shots with any of my other air rifles.I cleaned the bore thoroughly with Goo Gone, checked to make sure the mounting screws are tight, lightened the pull on the trigger. Not sure what else to do. I've got a couple of hundred shots through it, hoping it will settle down. It's a beautiful gun, for sure, but otherwise, so far NOT impressed with it. Dennis
