I find it odd and seek an answer from the collective that my Hatsan Edge Vortex .25 should give higher chrony readings from JSB's Exact 25.4g's than lighter H&N's 19.9g's. If I remember the light H&N's were in the high 500's and the heavier JSB's mid 600's.Can anyone explain why this might be? I cant seem to find the logic in it and retested a few times with the same results. I am concerned it might, for some reason indicate a leaky seal. If the added pressure of the heavier pellet might force a seal to open and therefore provide a stronger seal and higher compression= higher velocities? Do you think the less resistance of the lighter pellet might not require the skirt of the seal to seal as well resulting in less compression ie. lower velocities?
