Ok, for arguement's sake, we'll call it 15 meters to the small paper target.... (give or take, I didn't measure) and 6 pumps. After the first 2 shots closest tot the center in 1 fuzzy hole, a small breeze came up and was slightly moving the paper around. Very distracting. Still not too shabby for basically a spare parts gun. If it ever cools down a bit here in southern Alabama so you don't lose 5 lbs. sweating in 10 minutes, I'll get the chrony out for this and some of our other guns.
love the way it came out... i know what you mean about having parts extar laying around and a overactive imagination... I got a bucket'o'22xx/13xx that can at any time spew 1 or 2 complete setups... that is not counting the Tom cat already built, my original 1377 from 1980's (updated to shoot a bit more like the way a 8 year old boy remembers it to shoot... man i took down squirrels as big as an elk with that thing... from like 300 yards!!!...lol), a 1322 built before they re released it, because Ma' Crosman was taking too long..., a 2260, no trigger group , and now my latest project... I looked too much at the Brocock specialist and given that the wife said that 695 dollars was way too much for a BBgun (what does she know?lol, thank god my other rifles have no price tags attached permanently to them, or i would be dead..). So i took a pen and pad and disected all that the UK brocock specialist did, was and wanted to be... then went to the bench and built a 22xx carbine that fits the bill if not better... Brocock: 33.5 inches, no muzzle brake. 22xx: 34.5 WITH tko. weight: 6 lbs 5.1 lbspower: 11.3 fpe in .22 11.2 fpe in .22accuracy @ 25 yds: 15 mm groups 16 mm groupsno of shots per charge: 30 36 (CO2)variation in Fps: 16 fps 7 fps (!!!)price: too much (as per wife) 695.00 free (i have gotten so many 2240s and 1377s for free or near, that the value is negligible)after all i think it came out perfect... i know, the specialist is a multishot 6 shots, while my mutt is a single shot... but i do have a venom multishot breech somewhere... just choose to keep it simple. I would take this little beasty hunting later on and report how she does... but 590+ fps with 14.3 gr pellets tell me that it should not be an issue... you can never have enough 22xx/13xx guns.
Chalk me up as a fellow addict. Putting together a parts list today to build a long barrel stuffed piston version for my dads birthday. Two birds one pellet - I get to build another carbine and don't have to give him a lame gift card this year. He currently has a smooth bore barrel Winchester pumper based off what looks like a 760. Time to upgrade him.
