After messing with a few production flaws. Found the barrel loose in the barrel band, shimmed with four pieces of paper running from top down the sides. Had to file the notch in rear sight to get gun to shoot lower.
The five shots you see in the 9 and 10 ring are consecutive shots. Target was set a 46' (15.33 yards). Aim point was 6 o'clock of the bottom of the 9 ring. Ctc is just under 1/2". 10 pumps per shot.
I am pleased with results, but gun is going to get modified starting with an aluminum barrel band, 12" barrel, steel breech and rear sight.
Rear sight is the dilemma, red dot or Williams.

Here is the place to get a really good barrel band. You will want the one with out the front sight. You can get your barrel, steel breach, and front sight from Crosman.

Another nice upgrade that is very cheap is a solid pivot pin. If nothing else, it make disassembly much easier.

What Vertguy said. Those steel pins are from our Davio here on the forum. Look at these 3 guns and you will see his pins. They work great and no drilling is evolved. They fit and they work very well.

Hi John,
Welcome to GTA! And nice shooting with your 1377.
Based on what you've done with it so far, you sound like a DIY kind of guy so you might be interested in some mods I wrote up a while back. It's pretty easy to sink $300 or $400 bucks into a Crosman 1377 / 1322 / 2289 with aftermarket parts but I couldn't see doing that so I took a look at what I could do in my shop with simple, easy-to-find materials. One of those things was to stuff the piston and shim the pump cup which gave it an almost 50% increase in energy at 10 pumps compared to stock form. Anyway, here's a link to the PDF and the thread here on GTA where I documented my experiences as I went along.

Good luck with it and keep us posted!
