I think she'll be my main shooter, especially as fall approaches and CO2 becomes impractical with falling temps. Heck, she's just a joy to shoot any time of year, and that is high praise indeed coming from an airgunner who dislikes springers! She's definitely the exception to the rule here. Besides, she's not a springer. Not really a springer! Love mine too! Do you have the bipod on yours now?not yet, waiting for it to come in! It's a side mounted bipod

Wow, FV! Looking good! One note on the washers. They should quiet down the more you shoot. It takes a bit of time for them to wear down any rough edges and smooth out. I know mine are whisper quiet now. I bet it already feels tighter and smoother when you cock your gun. Those plastic abortions that Crosman calls washers make me shudder lol. Those are some solid looking rings. Where'd you get those and what was the price? Your scope looks a lot like my Hawke Eclipse. One long scope for sure! All in all I'd say you are making great progress. Keep the photos coming!
Got my BRG weaver risers! was able to fit my sunshade and all!
Can you take a pic showing how much space there is when you have the barrel fully open? Also that scope looks awfully high. Do you think you'll need to add a cheek piece to your stock?
George's Dusky now has a brand spanking new Nitro Piston installed.I made a nice little tool that made installing it simple and doesn't need the usual compressor. There's very little preload on most Gas Rams anyway.
Given the numbers I sent you and the 30 yard target shooting today? You are going to like Her even more! She can reach out to 75 yards with no problem also.I took another bottle even with the crappy CP 3x9x40 scope that came with the NP2.I did feel bad insulting Her with that future target!
My preliminary chrony numbers are showing a 40-50fps increase over what I was getting just before the piston failed. That was encouraging. It take more effort to cock, though not excessive. She also seems to kick a bit harder. She is still smooth as butter with zero grinding throughout the cocking stroke. I'm a happy camper! I will be sighting the scope in and shooting some strings over the chrony soon.
