Blow the valve out the back. If it is aluminum call Crosman and they will replace it with Brass. The gun was manufactured for a few years with aluminum valves and they will all bite the dust soon. Crosman will take care of you.LaterTim
There is a lot of old stock that will take a while to clear the system and until then it will be a problem. It will cost more to ship the gun to Crosman that it will to send the valve back to be replaced but I don't think they will make you do that. Call them and they will send you a brass one out. All you need to do is try to get some air in the valve then remove the action fastener, trigger group and hammer and the valve will blow out the back of the gun easy as long as the bolt is shut. The action nfastener should be removed and installed with the lever open so it can align with valve hole and not strip fastener.Non-permenat locktitie on the fastener so it won't back out of valve or leak firing pressure. It was a mistake to try to use aluminum but it wasa done and now the i8nventory needs to get fluched out of the system till there are no more. Ju8st because your gun is two weeks old doesn't mean it wasn't made 2 years ago.Crosman will take care of you. They are aware of the situation and will remedy it.TimmyMac1
