not any shops around here sell lead rounds anymore....copper jacketed seems to be the only thing in stock.Of course you can order the lead rounds.....just curious in case i was in desperate times waiting for a order to come in.

I would think they would have too much resistance in an airgun barrel.... For sure you would have to have an exact fit to even have a hope of them working....

Airguns do not like copper.  It's not slick enough and usually gets stuck in the barrel.

That's pretty light.....there are two such options here http://www.cowboybullets.com/Products.html#38Cal (http://www.cowboybullets.com/Products.html#38Cal) in SamYang .45's it sometimes pays off to order some un-sized slugs to try alongside the sized ones but .358 should be right in there diameter-wise.

What's up with DASH Caliber these days?

I tried a copper jacketed bullet .... once.  Got stuck.
And  I tried a copper plated bullet.... once.  Got stuck.  I thought the copper on the plated bullets might be thin enough to work, but the plating on the one I had was about .003 thick, and I was expecting more like .0005.
I agree, copper and airguns don't go together.

Wait a second !!!

Most barrels out there are .357-.358,...if the JSB pellet is a true 9mm like it looks to be,.......it will turn out to be just about useless .

never seen them????I ended up ordering 3 diff. Bullets to try out though....105 gr Rattler..130 gr round nose in 38 cal. and 127 gr flat point in the .357!I like a heavier bullet but I'm searching for the happy medium so I dint have to sacrifice so much range.

If you have a barrel that those big .35/9mm JSB's fit, it looks like they ought to shoot pretty well.  The make the Eun Jins look like they were whittled out with a hatchet.  It would be interesting to know what they actually measure.

I hear a rumour that JSB are also bringing out a .30 cal Exact.... I'm guessing they will be around 50 gr.... let's hope they fit a .308 groove barrel....  As far as the 9mm designation goes, that's what they call the EunJins and they are TIGHT in a .357 bore.... so we won't know until they hit the shelves.... One thing that actual pellets will have going for them compared to bullets is that they: 1. have less in contact with the bore, and 2. will tend to obturate with the hollow skirt.... I'm betting that will make them quite forgiving as to barrel diameter....

The .30 cal is 46gr I belive, and it's being designed for the .303 Wolve

Ok I just got a NIB old stock Fire 201 9mm. Anby Idea what bullet I should run through it. Guy gave me a couple of tins of the Korean 77 grainers. Forgot what Jeff was running through his. One of the bullet makers site is down, think it is the one you use Manny.

My 202 was fantastic with the 158gr .357 Snakebites from Dash Caliber, but it was a power tuned gun.

I would get a a couple of sample packs from MATT's Bullets in .358 going 125-130gr Max

the korean barrels like soft lead......
then they even make less noise.

with harder ammo more noise because part of the pressure finds its way out through the loading port.

At least i experience that with molded sw 105grains made of airgunpelletlead
When i made them from "roof" lead less noise
both sized in .356

Other great hit  is roundballs .362 from H&N

You are exactly right about the softer lead!I bought a 105 grain SW lee mold last week...took some wheel weights and started casting!less noise and better accuracy too then the hard casts Ive been ordering!Although my bullets are coming out close to .359????I just ordered a 102 gr .356 round-nose mold yesterday....waiting to see how that does!

Some of these guys selling big bore bullets are getting more than $.50 a bullet. I can shoot high powered rifle for that......308! $28-32 for 50 bullets is a little out of control and that's without shipping. Those are .357 prices also not the big guys. They keep that up everyone will be casting their own.

You can get .357 bullets for under 10 cents .45 bullets for 10 cents, and all of them are quality stuff
