The cocking arm pin on my 22 R1 cocking arm is moving left or right approx. 3/32" but not coming out. What is the safest way to brad the steel pin? Or is there another repair. Thanks for your valued help GTA members. lucky me, for being a member of such a fantastic group.

well what I'd do is take 2 tapered pointed punches set one in a vice to hold it steady and the other to punch to hit with a hammer and re set the pin so it won't move any further! JMO

I've been thinking of another method that may work. Tape a bb (or a ball bearing of close approximate size to the pin dimples) to each dimple and compress in a table vise. You may want to lay a bed of tape in the dimples to protect the pin finish from marring. I've never removed the pin from any of my Weihrauch break-barrels so this suggestion is an untried theory in practice. Hth's.

Is their any up/dn movement? If so, the pin is wearing out in the cocking lever. It's happened on my rx2.
I knock the old one out and replaced it with a 5mm dowel pin. Craig

Glassman98, not that I can tell , just left to right. but does not come out (fall out) nor come out far enough to catch the wood on the inside edge of the stock?
