Kind of liked the looks of this several months ago. Got it found cocking was ridiculously hard, but thought it might loosen up, naw. Hard even with the assist tube. Too late to return. Anyone take one apart?. Could one to cut back spring or any ideas? Haven't chronied as is.
I just use this for peckers and ground squirrels out back door and at short range 5-10 yards. At such short range stock sights kind of not so good. Thinking about a scope, but want to get it operable first.
Thanks for any comments, Shep

Looks to be the same base model as the Hatsan Mod 25 supercharger and I've recently taken delivery of one of those.
At the ranges you're shooting at it seems to be way over-powered and much harder to cock than it needs to be.
I'm currently working on the equivalent Hatsan branded model and I will post the results asap.
Just waiting on some .25mm PTFE sheet to arrive in order to make a piston sleeve for it and I will post the results when I have fitted everything back together again.
If you want an intermediate fix while you're waiting I would recommend removing the piston weight and polishing the spring ends to reduce friction and forward recoil. It should make it easier to cock as well.
Please watch this space for further updates.

Appreciate the reply. Overpowered? yep, but handy. Out in my shop, I have a TX200 for the pests. Would be interested in your choice of scopes, if you plan on mounting. When I got the 800 Express, I also ordered a BSA red dot, but wasn't happy with it. Dot too big even at longer range.
Take care, Shep

Well I've finally managed to get mine working in a form that I'm happy with now.
It's a .22 and what I did was:
1) Completely cleaned away all of the factory goop from the internal components
2) Removed the piston weight, which reduced the mass travelling forwards by 20%, and also had the effect of reducing the spring pre-load somewhat
3) Smoothed & polished the spring ends with 600 grit abrasive and fitted nylatron washers inside the piston and at the base of the spring guide
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-Plastic-Nylatron-Washers-I-Ds-from-6mm-up-to-25-8mm-8-different-sizes-/131551346487?#ht_329wt_1162
4) Made a piston sleeve from a .25 mm thick PTFE sheet
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231240293781?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT#ht_336wt_1162
5) Used a M10 shoulder washer for a top hat
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400769045903?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&var=670419616383&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT#ht_991wt_1162
6) Fitted a less stiff trigger tension spring (0.5 mm wire diameter instead of 0.9 mm) for a much lighter pull weight
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331335690881?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&var=540529797471&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT#ht_8253wt_1162
7) Fitted a 3-9 x 32 Leapers branded scope from China
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Leapers-UTG-3-9x32-AOCE-RGB-With-Sun-Shade-Dense-Point-Sight-Tube-W-Extinction-Rifle/32314164433.html
8 ) Bought this mount for it
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shippingl-1Pc-Ring-25-4mm-1-Extended-Style-One-Piece-Dovetail-Rail-11mm-Mount-for/32270305251.html
9) Drilled a 5.8 mm diameter hole at the rear of the 11 mm rail to allow the stop screw to engage and ground the tip of the screw flat
Finally I discovered that it prefers RWS Superdomes at 14.5 gr and this tightened up the groups by a significant amount.
I ran it over the Chrony today and from ten shots got a low of 519 fps and a high of 523 fps, for an ES of 4 fps and a SD of 1.75 fps giving 8.74 ft/lbs at the muzzle.
Shooting it rested from the bench I can now get 5p (dime) sized groups from 25 yards and I'm very happy with that.

Forgot to mention that I applied a good coating of moly grease to the spring and a thin film to the piston bearing surfaces.
