I was reading somewhere that Beeman and H&N are the same pellet? That one bought out the other company. I saw that the H&N 21.14 are $1.00 cheaper. Was just wondering before I place an order
the heavier pellets are shooting well is a sign of a high fps. the Kodiak 21.14 slowed the speed down, and the reason the the lighter 15.89gr shot to the right could be some spiraling going on.
Do you have a chrono? with a regulator you could make that determination, can say without it, you would just have to shoot with what shoots the best.
Dave there is so much info on this site wow, but you would set it according to what you are looking for, shot count then set it up at say 880fps and shoot 18.13gr pellets. I only shoot the 18.13gr in .22cal. its too bad that JSB does not make a 21gr
Maybe the 15.89 are not working well because of the head size/spiriling. Also try 120bar for the 18.13 JSBs, who knows maybe you will get more than 30 shots. I am sure that if you do the valve plug mod and leave 3 ports open (1 or 2 will work better) facing the TP and adjust hammer spring and regulator to 120bar you will get a really nice ES and shot count, also try to clean your barrel and if you have an LDC check for any pellet cliping.
When I initially had my AT44 without mods or anything it was shooting the CPHP at 1000fps and the string didn't had a bell curve to speak off, so yes you are probably shooting too fast and very likely pellets are spiraling. One way to adjust the velocity w/o regulator or plugging holes is to adjust the hammer spring, you will need a long 4mm or 5/32 allen key also you need to remove the stock and the 4mm allen key goes under the safety (it has a hole for it) and you will need another allen key or something like a drill bit to hold the hammer (so it doesn't rotate when you adjust the spring tension) there is a space where you can see the hammer and it has a small hole to insert the drill bit/allen key, also the hammer tension is adjusted like this: When you turn it clockwise you reduce tension and vice versa. In Bob's thread there is very small mod that allows you to adjust the velocity with out removing the stock http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=33903.20
Rotate the hammer with the long allen key then the hole will apear (and don't cock the rifle) and no some people drill a hole in the screw and put a delving plug so it doesn't move but I leaved mine just as it is, since I have my stock with the mod to adjust the hammer spring when it dials back by itself I can correct it pretty easily.

I had to order a allen wrench , I didnt have a long enough one so I have to wait til next week. How do I actually loctite it so it doesnt rotate after I make the final adjustment? Do I have to pull out the trigger group to access it?
