I’ve bought adapter-fittings online to convert a PB tank to 1/8” NPT.Works for old bulk-fill guns, as well as newer guns with bulk fill adapters. Two pieces shown, the knurled collar is an on/off fitting
At the Kalamazoo Airgun Show this morning I bought a Crosman 116 that's in very decent condition for a whopping $30 Sure was a heck of a lot better price than I ever could have gotten on ebay. There was one table that was loaded with the Crosman 101's @ excellent prices, a person could have bought a bunch of stuff there and easily sold it for much more on ebay however I'm not really in the business of buying and selling a lot for profit, I mainly enjoy buying for the fun of fixing them up.[/quoteThis is the pistol that reminded me of my old Benjamin 267! Tell me these guns aren't similar. Probably about the same '50's vintage. dave
Interesting about the production dates: per Crosman's website, all the bulk-fill guns were finished by 1955 and the Benji Rockets started in '55, taking over from their previous compact 25X series pistols which only were made '52 - '55. Thus the little Benjamins were directly competing with the Crosman bulk-fillers, maybe leading to Crosman's change into cartridge-charged 150 etc? Overall it's pretty surprising how many of the early 1950's pistols are still around after 65 years!Don R.
Terry he had two of the 112's for the same price ($37) I talked him down to $30 for the 116. I think after seeing all the good stuff at that airgun show I'll be calling it quits for the Ebay deals, I might buy one that's on there right now, it's a rusty looking type one Crosman 150 and I have plans on making a real project out of it by turning it into a 25 cal this winter. If I don't win the bid I do have one that I'll use instead.
