I suggest that you read everything you can. I just bought a Disco from Norm All i have done is put on a TKO cut a few coils off the hammer spring put in an adjuster polished and changed trigger spring and refinished stock The only thing I paid for was the TKO and it was worth it.My point is that there are alot of mods you can do to a Disco just read alot and have fun. Mine is fun and accurateTommy
Thank you for the replies. I'll be looking into getting a TKO in the near future.I got mine in .22 caliber. On that note, any pellets that you'd recommend? I think I have around 300 Crow Magnums that my Octane doesn't seem to like. At this point in time I don't have any plans on putting power mods on. From what I understand, the Disco has enough power out of the box for birds and squirrels. Most of my shots will probably be between 25-50 yards. Additionally, I will be using the manual pump for the foreseeable future. I know that more power = less shots = more pumping = one tired guy. If I can find someone near where I live that will fill scuba tanks, I will probably be moving to that someday. Maybe one of the local fire stations.Any comments on the degasser? I probably won't be set up for CO2 for awhile, but should I still get a degassing tool?
My Disco was delivered on July 1st from PA. Took less than 24 hours to get to me. I ran a few patch thru the barrel and then fired a few rounds(.22cal). It was way to loud not to draw attention in the city, so I removed my 6.5"TKO from my CCS 2400KT and mounted it on my new Disco. It still makes much more noise than my 2289g, or the 2400KT with the ldc, but most people don't suspect that the noise was from a pellet firing tool. I put some bread out this morning and have taken six Starlings in my kill zone ten yards from my window. I'm saving the heads to make a wind chime for my porch.

I probably won't be set up for CO2 for awhile, but should I still get a degassing tool? The area in blue is most like what I do with my Discovery .22. As for the degassing tool, I went to Ace Hardware and bought a 4" screw to fit the Discovery and polished the end that would go into the rifle. But, I have never used it yet.

I have degassed mine once and I did that by just shooting it down. The degassing tool would be better used as a hammer spring adjuster. Put a small spring guide in the spring so that the screw can compress the spring. This is one of the easy mods you can do to adjust power.

I saw one guy just put a spent 22lr casing in the spring

Do not use a casing with the Disco hammer spring. You can order a spring guide from several vendors. But please don't use a .22lr casing.
Oh, gotcha. I just think a casing would be to soft for a Disco. But hurry up and start shooting so we can see some pics.Joe

Not sure if that means they will ship it in 3-5 days or it will be here in 3-5 days. Hoping for the latter. As far as running a patch, just use goo-gone like I do in my break barrel?

And my local Dollar Tree has the 3oz bottles...along with the CR2032, CR123, and LR44 batteries all my hunting lamps and lasers use. Almost one stop shopping---if they only carried pellets too. lolMake sure if you use a rod not to be to rough. I use 50lb test line from breech to muzzle.
