Ok, just shot another group and accuracy wasn't any better. Here is something that might be a clue though. I'm not quite sure what to make of that vertical string. All shots in that group were from 765-785fps. The POI shouldn't have shifted that much just from a 20fps difference, right? Ideas anyone? Is this just a coincidence?
.....BTW, the pellets were canned CPUM 14.3s; I tried CPHPs but they did even worse......

For me, the Air Arms 13.43 stack pellets in the same hole at 25 yards. The CHP's shot like your pics. Also, I put a Challenger adjuster on mine, cut a new Disco spring down and screwed it back to get approx 790 fps out of mine so I could dial it in for Hunter FT to 19 FPE ( yeah, not the high end FT rifle most people use but it's what I have) HFT requires less than 20 FPE. I fill to 1700 (after figuring out the best flat curve) and get about 25 shots before poi comes off target. Hope this helps.
Alright, William's generous pellet donation came in today! I just got back from shooting and here are the results from 25 yards:JSB Exact 15.9gr gave by far the best results at .9" ctc for a 10 shot group,JSB Exact 14.3gr was the next best at 1.4" for a 10 shot group, whileBeeman FTS copper 14.72gr gave almost identical results, yielding a 1.45" 10 shot group, butH&N Field Target Special 14.66gr and Barracuda Match 21.1gr fell far behind giving a 2.4" 5 shot group and a 2.8" 3 shot group, respectively.Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of the JSB 15.9gr pellets and believe the JSB 14.3gr and the Beeman FTS warrant a closer look. There was a 4-5mph wind that was off and on throughout the testing, but I tried to time the shots between gusts. I also didn't have a great rest, either: just a cardboard box and some blankets stacked on top, braced off the door frame. I believe that with a better rest, a calmer day, and a calmer shooter I can probably tighten the JSB 15.9s down to at least 3/4" and maybe even 1/2" at 25 yards. I believe the next course of action is to see if I might be able to get a small can of JSB 18.1s to try, then I'll know where to go from there.I'll be doing more testing with the JSB 15.9gr at varying ranges over the next few days, so watch for updates!ETA: after shooting some more 15.9s right before dark when the wind died down, I fired off one last 8 shot group. I pulled one shot a little, and there were 2 flyers which I believe were caused by slightly damaged skirts. The group (excluding the one I pulled) measured 7/8", with the good 5 shots measuring 1/2". I now think I may stick with 15.9s unless I get a chance at some 18.1s, and they manage to group a little better.

Those 15.9 are the best in my guns, I was out shooting yesterday and shot some 18.1 and 25.4 grain and they all shoot decent groups, but the 15.9 beat the pants off the others. I bet you that if you increase the FPS on that gun a little it will group them better. Mine seem to like 825 fps to 940 fps.Glad those are working out.... I love the 15.9 JSBWilliam
I tried messing with velocity for the FTTs yesterday evening, and while they did better they still were nowhere near the JSB's accuracy. After tinkering with the 15.9s some more, I have found they seem to like a little bit higher velocity than what I've been shooting them at. I'm going to try groups at different velocities today and see what happens. Hopefully I don't run out of pellets before I get done testing , but if I do I have a shopping cart ready at Pyramyd. I've got 3 cans of 15.9s and 1 can of 18.1s, coming in right around $50 shipped with a 10% off code. My dad told me that after this, Santa isn't going to be too generous this year
