i was wondering if i had a 2240 and bought the disco tube, barrel, trigger, stock and pressure gauge. could i drop the 2240 internals and have a disco? i know the vavle on the disco has more flow but would it work. Ill have to call crosman and price the parts and see if it is below the cost of a factory disco. if it is wow that would be cool.
Not sure that the stock 2240 valve would work with out some mods, i dont think the stem couldnt the handle high pressure. buying parts to make one would probably cost more than you could purchase a used disco.
capt woody where did you get that awesome paint job on the .25 ? I am going to go the 2240 with a disco tube and a 18 inch barrel with a 1" shroud to go the rest of the way to the end of the tube. High rise breech, the carbine stock for 2240, disco valve and fill adapter. am i missing anything? I will make a custom fore grip at the shop at work. Will all the springs from the 2240 work with disco parts.
