I know that they were sold as a package on Beeman R9's, and I'm thinking that the R9 is probably where they top out in terms of recoil resistance. If others have different experiences, I'd like to know about them.
They are easy to spot by the "HIGH CONTRAST OPTICS" signage on the inside of the objective adjustment ring. I like them, and Bushnell told me that they are springer safe, but.... one of mine went bad on a Parrus (crosshair snapped) and I don't want to ruin another. I don't want to restrict them to youth guns either.
Thanks!

I have two 4-12X40 Trophy scopes from that era and they work great on springers. One was on a D34 (15.5#) then
moved to a Diana 46 (12#) springer. The other is on a ProSport (14#). The D34 now sports a newer Trophy XLT version
and also works just fine. I suspect you are correct on the R9 being the max power one of those scopes could handle.

IIRC, a 4-12 Bushnell Banner came on my HW50S purchased from PA several years ago.
