Got my Mike Mileck full tuned 46U today.I had a mid tuned 46U also in .22 from Mike and it was a great shooter,I ended up giving it to my Dad.When I asked Mike about ordering another but with a full tune and the gas piston. He told me he has found a new spring for them that he thought performed better than the gas piston so he suggested I go that route(if ive learned anything ive learned listen! and follow this mans advice)So this is what I got.
Ive only shot about 50 rounds through it,it is accurate! it seems to cock easier than my 1st one,the trigger feels smooth and a bit shorter throw than the 1st one.The cock lever seems to have a more positive hold on the keeper it hasnt come loose from its keeper yet.The other major thing I notice shooting this rifle is its QUIET! no twang at all! solid, smooth shooting action.I cant wait to get my scope on this rifle my tri focals are so tough to shoot iron sites with.
Im going to stop at malwart on the way home from work and get me another tin of the CPHP's and use them to finish the break in and get a start on sighting the scope in.Then work with some others brands and styles to find that "right" pellet.
Pics and more feed back will be coming.

I do not know what spring it is.Like I said MIke M. said he thought I would prefer this new spring, he likes it best of all the options. There is no twang to this rifle.I plan on calling Mike M. up Monday to tell him he really out did himself on this rifle,I'll ask for some info on the spring....im very pleased!
Here she is with the Hawke mil dot mounted.
When I mounted the scope I felt like I really had to climb up on the rifle to find my eye relief,so I broke the scope and mount down and took it out to the mill and machined off about .1900 off the front of the mount.this slid that scope back just enough to make feel comfortable lookin through the glass.
This is my lil indoor range its just under 30' gypsum in front of 1" form board and 3/4" plywood just because...
The barrel likes those Stoeger X-match 13.73 gr. may not like em much at longer distance? it is a wad cutter pellet.
Got the scope zeroed in and it produced this 5 shot pattern 8)It measures just under .200 CTC on the holes...not to bad!
It likes a nice loose hold, thumb up on the trigger hand...simply sqeeze that wonderfull trigger Mike M. worked on.
Super excited about this new 46U.

Thanks,man I love this rifle!
I been playin with pellets...imagine that
I find this weird but maybe its not...definitely lucky maybe?
The JSB rs pellets shoot great! at 10 meters its hole in hole or just off the edge.@ 25 yards im gettin some great patterns as well probably 3/4" groups. When I shoot the RS's out at 40 yards the pattern really opens up.I put a JSB heavy in it reset the AO to 50 yards put the cross hair on the target and oh yeah! back to 3/4 to 1" patterns @ 40 yards.
Ive tested this 3 nights in a row now.For 10 to 25 yards set the AO @ 25 yards load the rs and nail! the target. for 40 to 50 yards I set the AO to 50 yards load up the JSB heavy put cross hairs right on your target and NAIL! it.So the heavy's must have a lil higher POI and it works out near perfect for me.@ 60 to 65 yards with the JSB heavy I have to hold over about 1 mildot and nail the target! groups are spreading out a bit but its hittin where im shooting, havnt been getting any "flyr's"
What I have noticed if I grab the gun load (its first shots of the day)and shoot im low typically, but after 2 or 3 shots im right back on the bull eye?...maybe the barrel just wants a warm up? or maybe its just me gettin back into my hold ritual?
Anyways, this rifle is a blast to shoot.Im out hittin the 40 yard targets, the wife is shooting the xs12 at the 10 meter with a splat target. She shoots and hits...I move my AO down load the rs and drive a pellet right through her hole hehe (have fun with that) set my AO back to 50 yards load heavy and go back to shootin 40 yards...back and forth back and forth for a couple hours last night...HOT DARN this is fun!
