Truck arrived today with my latest Hunting Buddy

Thanks to Mike at Flying Dragon my .22 cal Gen 2 FDPCP arrived right on time this afternoon. Double boxed, the rifle was in very nice condition, the stock unblemished and looking just a bit darker than my previous gun. I asked Mike to set this one up for full power and of course he did his magic as usual. The gun was filled to about 1600 psi on my Hill Pump gauge and I fired 7-8 shots over the chrony...wow what a surprise. Shooting 21.3 gn Baracuda pellets the first shot was 885 fps, with the next few crossing into the low 900 fps, with a high of 916, before falling back into the high 800's. Chairgun says at the peak that is about 39 ft lbs at the muzzle. I will have to play with the fill pressure to find the most consistent 10 shots for hunting, but this little beauty seems to have some promise.
I wanted a gun that fit between my Condor .25 and my Hatsan 25 Supercharger .177 and I think this is going to be a great addition. It will be a field gun and weighing in at 6.7 lbs with scope, it is even lighter than my Condor. This also answers a question I have seen asked a few times about can the Gen 2 guns can be tuned to be as powerful as the Gen 1 guns.
This one has a safety, and dual barrel bands, upgrades from the Gen 1 gun. My initial impressions are that Mike continues to have a winner with his FDPCP rifles, and it is hard to imagine finding a better gun for $165.00. P.S... I know it didn't happen without pictures so enjoy...

Glad to here that you received your Gen. 2 from MM and that it has the muzzle velocity you wanted. Let us know when you shoot for accuracy, that is the most impressive aspect of these rifles. Both of mine shoot one cloverleaf 5 shot hole at 35 yards from a rest which is the longest distance I have in my backyard. Enjoy, cause that's why we do this crazy hobby.
