Could the super heavy pellets have contributed to this?
is the scope dying?
I read a thread where the poster, might even have been scp52 above, cut the packing foam that comes around pellet tins from Pyramyd Air into triangles to fit but stock. The triangle foam was lathered in silicone and pushed in. Think it took three pieces the way they did it. Adds some weight but will reduce vibration a lot. The foam filler is a great idea so the silicone can dry. Others have simply squeezed silicone alone in to fill stock butt then waited what? A week for it to dry.
I am the OP and my scope is broken. I took it out today and the elevation dial moved after about 20 shots and does not stay in the same position. I'll contact HatsanUSA and see what they say. Do they usually want the broken scope sent back to them? I also discovered that there is some "play" with the barrel after its loaded. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that something felt loose when I would level the gun to shoot, and today I figured out that the barrel moves slightly up and down where it locks or pivots. Is this normal? It doesn't move alot but can I can definitely see it and feel it.
