I just got a new Hatsan 95 the other day and have been shooting it just with the open sights. No matter what pellets I use it always shoots to the left and high. Not real tight groups, either. I'm shooting at 8 yards because that's about the distance I would be shooting pigeons or squirrels harassing my bird feeders. There is not enough windage adjustment in the rear sights to zero it in. If I loosen the phillips screw holding the rear sight down would there be enough wiggle room to slide it over a little and then re-tighten?
Will the groups tighten up a bit as the gun is broken in more? Not impressed at all at this point. Nice wood grain but they messed up the finish. Looks like they slid it in the plastic bag before the finish cured. Pretty lame.

The first time I hit it, I missed. The second time I hit it in the same place.

I would send it back and get a different one.
That being said, it's pretty easy to tweet (bend) an airgun barrel to get the POI you want. Youtube
