Title: benjamin discovery leaks when shot

everytime i time i shoot it i feel a little rush of air coming out of either the trigger area or the guage. Accurate gun but i think its lowering my shot count

two things to check. use a piece of toilet paper to check it.

1.- you bolt o-ring needs replacement.

2.- your transfer port is not seated proper (This is the more likely problem)  or the transfer port oring needs replacement

Check that you breech screw is tight.  Have you takes the breech off recently? I use a wood clamp to get the breech nice I tight. I rather put the pressure with the clamp because you can strip to hex wrench or the screw fairly easy if you put too much torque.

say the transfer port isn't seated right.. how would i fix that? i actually returned my last discovery because of a large gap between the breech and the airtube which was caused by the transferport

oh and this is a brand new gun.. should i return it or just replace the orings myself

Then you just need to tighten the breach if it is new. you will need a .05 hex wrench.

I would send it back, let them fix it, that's what a Warranty is for. For what they cost, you should get one that works properly. If you start messing with it you will void the Warranty.
