Does anyone know what type of metal the action is made from on a NP XL 1100. If so what is the best way to cover those scratches?
Thanks

Chinese mystery metal! I usually keep a black sharpie handy. Seems to work pretty well. Also, if you want a more permenant solution, most gun shops sell a pen called aluma-black or something similar for hiding gouges and scratches in black aluminum recievers/gun parts
