Restocking Disco - any advise helpful

My options seem to be limited on restocking my Disco. I contacted Boyds and found out they will not do custom work. I can order a thumbhole varmint style that is inleted and finished however, my gun is modified and does not have a gauge due to a longer valve. I dont want a hole cut in the bottom of my new stock and I dont like the vent holes in the forearm. Boyds will not supply (custom) inleting. So that option is out. My next option is to order a Blaster style stock only it is not inleted or finished. I have done several inleting jobs with glass bedding on hi power rifles in the past. But do not know requirements on doing a air rifle.
Also, I would like to use a clear finish on the stock so I think that polyeurathane would be the way to go for finish As I want the true colors of the laminate to show through the finish. I would think that true-oil finish would mute or darken the colors. My gun shoots fantastic right now so I dont want the stock change to affect its accuracy. I am also wondering if release agent will work with plastic parts. Any thoughts are welcome.
