Ok that's interesting. I'm getting maybe 3/4 of the way in pushing hard.I think I'm going to order a .454 sizer and compare.Quote from: LEE IN VA. on October 20, 2015, 11:09:22 PMQuote from: Steveoh on October 20, 2015, 07:44:14 PMGot my press and .457 sizer. Sized all 200 Whyte EPP-UG's as well as the samples that supertech77 so kindly sent me. They are still a bear to get seated. Do I have a defective barrel? Or should I be using .454 sized ammo? Or do I need to start lifting weights? Scratching head. Thanks for input...SteveohThey are not going to push all the way in, mine may go a fourth of the way in. Some people use an Allen wrench to help seat them farther.

brother big bore shooter,i mold only pure lead bullets, and i can shoot 460/330 grain out of my tuned 909 to over 400 fpe, and dead nut accurate at 97 yards,so if its pure lead in a stock 909, i would recommend a 195 gr or less at .457 .i am getting over 200 fpe out of my 909 twin tube 500 cc with 457/195 gr pure lead accurate bullet molded, and there accurate out to 75 yards, easy, also the epp bootlits work well also in . 457 diameter with pure lead.
