I would like to say Hi. I am Nev and I have a Sumatra 500cc in .22 but regulated to 12 foot pounds, I have wanted one of these rifles for years but never got round to getting one. Anyway it's a cracking rifle and I'm well chuffed with it :-)My question if I may is, I suppose my low power rifle won't be at issue but how reliable are the valves on these guns as they mustcome in for an enormous amount of abuse from the hammer over hundreds of firing cycles ?Anyway best wishesNev

I haven't heard of broken Sumatra valves, Evanixes are notorious for breaking valve stems and seals. If you are worried about it you can always get a spare valve but the stock one should be good for tens of thousands of shots.
